To be updated soon...

This is the first Blog post I've ever made by using my PS Vita to post it, so, although it will be quite inconvinient for me, I'm going to have to be doing this for the next few weeks but hopefully not months because I may have... accidently, of course... spilt a cup of water over my Laptop, now, before you start thinking, oh, what a clumsy idiot, I hardly ever drink while on my Laptop, let alone drink water but when I do, I try to keep the cup as far away from the Laptop as possible but it's me so obviously, the water defied physics and flew over to the Laptop, surprisingly however, it wasn't today on Friday the 13th this happened it was on Wednesday, so, I've been 3 days without it and I'm coping suprisingly very well, so, I'll just have to manage until I can either get a new Computer or have the old one fixed. BTW, incase you're wondering what the P.V. at the top of this post means, it represents Playstation Vita or PS Vita as I've already called it. Oh and, come on England in the World Cup!!

End of the European Union.

With the Euro Crisis escalating ever so quickly and Euroscepticism on the rise in many member-countries, could this be beginning of the end of a United Europe?? The answer is no, countries in Europe have always had their enemies but have also had friends as well, and for them to just refuse to co-operate with one another is unlikely, so that brings up the question, did we really even need the EU in the first place?? The percentage of people now that answers yes or no would probably be about even, but a lot of the people who would say no forget, the EU was going to unite the Continent mostly by trade and I would say they did a pretty good job, it's clear to see that trade has increased between member-countries since the EU was founded but a lot of the people who would say yes forget that the EU has failed in a lot of other areas, one of them, is uniting the whole of Europe under one stable currency, the Euro. Although the Euro is used in quite a few countries by now, it is definitely not a stable currency as shown by the Eurozone Crisis.

While some are predicting the EU will fall just as the colonial Empires did, there are a few countries that will and still depend on the EU to pay off their bills, like Greece, so for every single country to just leave is unlikely, think of the EU as a sort of life-support for them, of course, if every single economically established member-country left and the only remaining members were the ones that needed life-support, it wouldn't be very healthy, and while, a few years ago that would've seemed quite unlikely, since the European elections, it is, by no means at all. With the UK looking to (hopefully) leave the EU by/in 2017, provided a party other than Labour and the Lib Dems win the general election in 2015, which country would be next after that?? We'll find out soon...

New Home Kit.
The new Charlton Athletic Home kit will be the one shown in the picture above and while others who I have asked for their opinion of it, have said it resembles too much of Belgian football teams, I actually think it looks alright, it isn't the best we've ever had and when I heard who our main shirt sponsor was going to be, I was a bit shocked, (I mean, you don't usually see football teams advertising universities) but it isn't the worst we've ever had either.

Now, we're just going to have to wait for the new Away kit to come out...

Scottish Independence.

Will the Union Jack be looking like the flag on the top-right by 2015?? We'll find out, but there are a lot of us who can't wait until September the 18th to find out if Scotland will be leaving the UK this year, and to be honest, I don't have a definite answer for you, I don't know very much about the impact leaving the UK would have on Scotland, and I'm not going to pretend I do, but, what I do remember is what a lot of people over-look, the history we have together as a nation, sure, I know what you're thinking, you're thinking “history doesn't mean a thing when it comes to the independence of countries” and, you're right to think that, there are numerous examples of where countries have betrayed one another after being allies for literally centuries but you're forgetting how much Scotland being a member of the UK really helped them out, and, in a similar way to how a lot of countries have become dependent on Germany and the other rich countries in the EU, Scotland become dependent on the rest of the UK to protect and provide for them, in exchange for help with fighting wars alongside them, and although a lot of people believe this is no longer the case, we have shown too many times we are stronger as one.

Notice how the UK has taken centuries to begin to show any signs of collapsing unlike the EU which took less than a decade, that's because England never tried to change the other countries into their own image, replacing their cultures with their own, but actually merged them together, and a symbol of how successful this union was, is the British Empire, just look at all the countries it owned and the wealth we gained from it. Without the union of 1707, and consequently the Empire, we would not be nearly as developed as we are today and the world would be a very different place also. The UK certainly left it's mark on the world and also left it's mark on Scotland, and that's why I believe Scotland will not become independent, if this counts as a reason(s) anyway...

Welcome to my Blog.

Welcome to my new Blog, Future's History, does the title make sense, it's debatable, and that's why I made it this Blog's title, as a representation of what this Blog is going to have as it's main focus, topics that are debatable, questions that have more than one answer, etc. Learning from the mistakes I made with my previous Blog which was about one subject, alone and nothing more, (my favourite football team, Charlton Athletic) I am going to try and make this one a bit more like how my very first Blog made on Blogger was like, no particular subject, leaving it very open to what I can talk about on it, so think of this Blog as a kind of combination in style of those two Blogs and the two I made on WordPress, (which were YOUNGKLINGONBOY, I didn't make up that title, I swear, and Wolf359) so, as a summarisation of what you should be able to expect of this Blog, which will hopefully last longer than it's predecessor's, here:
  • My everyday life
  • TV
  • Film Reviews
  • Football
  • Politics
  • and more (meaning, I haven't quite decided yet)
I should be posting about a few times about every week, so if you really are interested in what I have to say, be sure to check back here every week.

P.S. In case you're wondering, I am a 13 and a half (almost three quarters) year old boy and have many interests in many different subjects, so you can expect a lot of variety in my posts every week, as you can see by the list above, see-ya next week...
